She has completed PhD in chemical sciences as a DST-INSPIRE-JRF/SRF (10.04.2015 to 09.04.2020) sponsored by “Department of Science & Technology, India”. She is also the recipient of the Newton-Bhabha Fellowship -2019, jointly funded by British Council-UK and DST-India. She got training on metabolomics by NMR and LCMS based methodologies at the University of Greenwich, London, UK from April 2019 to July 2019 jointly sponsored by DST, Government of India, and British Council, UK in March 2022. Her research interest includes biomarker-based discovery in targeted diseases using LCMS/MS, Extraction, fractionation, and isolation of chemical/bioactive markers from natural products using either advanced chromatography/spectrometry techniques along with chemometric analysis. To establish possible mode of action/mechanisms behind biological activity as well validation of traditional medicinal/therapeutic claim. Her research also includes development and application of LC-MS/MS methods for metabolomics in biomarker screening and validation, Development and application of LC-MS/MS methods for clinical diagnosis and clinical trial, Identification of unknown molecules from biological extracts by LC-MS/MS and interpretation of mass spectra.
